As one of the West Coast's top milliners, Dayna Pinkham designs, constructs, and sells exceptional custom hats at her millinery in Portland, Oregon. She is the only operating millinery in the city, and one of the very few in the United States. All her hats are made by hand, on-site. Dayna began her millinery career in 1982 as an apprentice to the late John Eaton. In 2012 she was featured in the book Couture Hats by esteemed art and fashion expert and author, Louis Bou. The book celebrated the most innovative master milliners around the world, and recognized Pinkham as being one of the top 25 couture milliners worldwide, and one of the top four in the United States. Her clientele is international, and her custom designs have graced wedding ceremonies and special events across the nation and throughout Europe, including Great Britain's Royal Ascot and Newmarket horse races, the Kentucky Derby, the Breeders’ Cup, and the Baltimore Preakness.
